Performance Parameters
◇ Remote Meter Reading: Can be done using a fixed computer or through mobile phones to read data from external energy meters anytime and anywhere, facilitating the detection of electricity theft and saving the monthly costs of sending personnel and vehicles for meter reading.
◇ Prepaid Management: Management personnel can directly input the electricity amount on-site into the GSM/GPRS-PK system using a computer or mobile phone based on the prepaid electricity bill or bank transfer slip. This allows for the accumulation of the remaining electricity balance and management of electricity usage, enabling centralized management via computer and individual management by regional electricity management personnel using their mobile phones.
◇ Management Method: When the prepaid electricity balance reaches 20%, 10%, and 5%, users will be notified to pay their electricity bills. When the balance reaches 0, a power outage signal is triggered, and the switch is opened to cut off power. After payment, management personnel send a message to the GSM/GPRS-PK system, automatically restoring power supply.

Secondary circuit
◇ Measurement Circuit: The energy meter is connected to a dedicated secondary winding. The measurement circuit first passes through a special test junction box before connecting to the energy meter and prepaid control Equipment.
◇ The cross-sectional area of the current circuit wires in the metering unit is 4mm², while the cross-sectional area of the voltage circuit wires in the metering unit is 2.5mm² . The cross-sectional area of control, signal, and other wires is 1.5mm².
◇ The internal secondary circuit wires of the box utilize single-core, single-strand copper insulated wires with a nominal voltage of not less than 500V.
◇ Inside the box, there are power indicator lights, alarm indicator lights, closure indicator lights, and disconnection indicator lights. Indicator light colors: closure is red, disconnection is green. The energy metering control cabinet provides maintenance operation phases, equipped with manual disconnection and closure buttons. The manual disconnection and closure buttons are protected with a door lock. The cabinet door is spray-painted with the State Grid Corporation logo and service hotline number, along with a " Electrical Hazard " warning sign.
◇ The cabinet body is made of matte stainless steel plate, with a thickness of 1.5mm for capacities of 400A and below, and a thickness of 2.0mm for capacities of 630A and above ( made from cold-rolled steel plate), which undergoes good anti -rust, spray coating, and corrosion treatment. All Equipment and metal fasteners inside the cabinet are resistant to rust and oxidation. The observation window for reading the meter uses 4mm colorless transparent polycarbonate material, with an area that meets the requirements for reading and monitoring .
◇ The cabinet adopts a closed structure, providing good measurement safety and anti-theft functions. During installation, it is only necessary to connect the power incoming line, power outgoing line, and grounding wire; the entire system has no exposed electrical contacts. The top of the control cabinet has ventilation louver holes, while the sides have double-layered ventilation louver holes with opposing opening directions and filters.
◇ The cabinet door is equipped with a three-point locking system and can be fitted with a lead seal according to user needs. The prepaid control Equipment, metering transformer, energy meter, and special test junction box all have lead seal Equipment at their respective electrical connections. A mechanical pin tumbler lock can be installed on the door of the energy metering control cabinet, equipped with a rain cover for the lock. The locking mechanism uses waterproof locks.
◇ Busbars are made of copper material, and the cross-sectional size is determined based on 3A of current per square millimeter. For rated currents of 225A and above, copper bars are used, protected with heat-shrink tubing.
