China MNS Low-Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear Factory & Suppliers for Power Distribution Solutions
Model and Definitions
Normal Use Environment Conditions
- The surrounding air temperature should not exceed +40℃ and not be lower than -5℃, with an average temperature within 24 hours not exceeding +35℃.
- Atmospheric conditions: The air should be clean, with Relative Humidity not exceeding 50% at the maximum temperature of +40℃. Higher Relative Humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, such as 90% at +20℃; however, temperature changes should be considered, as condensation may occur occasionally.
- The altitude should not exceed 2,000 meters.
- This device is suitable for transportation and storage processes within the temperature range of -25℃ to +55℃. For a short period (not exceeding 24 hours), it can reach +70℃. At these extreme temperatures, the device should not suffer any irreparable damage and should operate normally under standard conditions.
- If the above application conditions cannot be met, the user and the manufacturer should negotiate a solution.
- When this device is used on offshore oil drilling platforms and nuclear power plants, a separate technical agreement should be signed.
Cabinet Structure
The basic structure of the switchgear cabinet is composed of C-shaped profiles assembled together. The C-shaped profiles are made of steel plates bent with E=25mm as the modular mounting hole. All cabinet frames and internal partitions undergo galvanized phosphating treatment. Surrounding door panels and side panels are finished with high-voltage electrostatic spraying.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
QWhat are the standard ambient temperature limits for operating the switchgear cabinet?
The surrounding air temperature should remain between -5℃ and +40℃, with a 24-hour average temperature not exceeding +35℃ to ensure proper operation.
QWhat is the maximum installation altitude permitted for this device?
The standard installation altitude for this switchgear cabinet should not exceed 2,000 meters above sea level.
QWhat IP protection ratings are supported by the cabinet structure?
The cabinet complies with IEC 529 and DIN 40050 standards, offering IP30, IP40, and IP54 protection options. Note that IP54 requires direct consultation and customization with the manufacturer.
QWhat materials and surface treatments are used in the cabinet frame?
The frame consists of C-shaped steel profiles with a modular E=25mm mounting hole design. Internal partitions and frames undergo galvanized phosphating, while the outer panels feature a high-voltage electrostatic sprayed finish.
QCan this equipment be deployed in extreme environments like offshore platforms or nuclear plants?
Yes, but standard configurations may not apply. For offshore oil drilling platforms and nuclear power plants, a separate, specialized technical agreement must be negotiated and signed.
